Below follows a list of the fannish things that make me squee and flail. Posted here, because my info page is cluttered enough.

Harry Potter

~ good ships

Any combination of James, Sirius, Remus, and Regulus -- I like them in twos, in threes, or however-many-you-please. I also like Harry, Ron, Sirius, and Remus in any permutation that comes to mind, as well as Harry/Neville, Remus/Neville, and Sirius and Regulus with Bellatrix (together or apart). Not to mention Remus or Sirius with Hermione, Ginny, or Minerva, and don't forget James, Sirius, and/or Remus with Lily. There's always room for Snape, particularly with James, Sirius, Regulus, Lily, and Narcissa, and then there's Harry/Ron/Hermione, Fred and George (bonus points if they bring a friend), Harry and/or Ron with Ginny, and Stan Shunpike with just about anyone.

Harry/Draco, Ron/Draco, Neville/Draco, and Ron, Harry, or Neville with Luna, Ron/Hermione, Arthur/Molly, and Snape/Minerva. Honourable mention goes to Snape/Draco, Snape/Neville, and under the right conditions, Harry/Snape, Snape/Hermione, and Ron/Pansy.

I'm partial to genfic about MWPP during school, MWPP during the first war, Sirius' relationship with his brother, Sirius' dysfunctional family, and the time Sirius spent living with James. I also like the Trio, Neville, Draco and his dysfunctional family, and Luna.

Angst. Prolonged UST. Snark, banter, dubious consent and ambiguous endings. Grudgefucking. Mindfucking. First times, particularly after 5,000 words of stoic pining. Power plays and replacement sex. Wall sex, biting, bruising, and dirty talk when it's both filthy and believable. Cross-gen between certain characters and cross-dressing if it's done just right. Frottage, mindless rutting, and needy, desperate sex of the half-clothed, trousers-bunched-around-the-knee variety. Blackcest. Infidelity and incest, if handled with a healthy dose of wrongness and guilt. Drunken stumbles, awkward fumbling, allegedly!straight James, and Sirius calling Remus Moony. I also won't say no to threesomes, clusterfucks, light bondage, polyjuice brothels, grabby Inferi, and the occasional dead body.

Good Omens

Aziraphale/Crowley is my unwavering Good Omens OTP, but I won't turn down Crowley with Adam or Pepper, or Aziraphale and/or Crowley with Anathema. I also like Newt/Anathema, Newt/Shadwell, and I have a strange and secret fondness for Adam with Harry Potter.

I am especially keen on genfic with a historical setting, particularly the type where Aziraphale and Crowley are trying (and possibly failing) to work against each other. I'm also interested in the eleven years they spent messing Warlock around, anything about Crowley dealing with the denizens of Hell, the time Newt spent as a Witchfinder Private, and snapshots of the Them's daily life.

Aziraphale and Crowley pining in silence. Aziraphale and Crowley getting together by the machinations of others, and Crowley in jealous fits unbecoming of demons. Six-thousand year-old virgins, particularly when that virgin is Aziraphale. Adam falling into be with people accidentally, and Crowley calling Aziraphale angel.

American Gods

Shadow/Loki, Wednesday/Loki, Shadow/Bast, Shadow/Mad Sweeney, and Ibis/Jaquel.

Shadow/Laura, Loki/Laura, Wednesday/Laura, Wednesday/Easter, Wednesday/Bilquis, Loki/Mad Sweeney, and under the right conditions, Shadow/Wednesday.

I am particularly interested in Shadows time in jail, the years Wednesday and Loki spent as working partners, Ibis and Jacquel's daily life, and Shadow trapped in long, surreal conversations with Wednesday, Mister Nancy, Czernobog, and the Zoryas.

Angst, godsize machinations, and Wednesday poaching on under-age virgins. Situations where Shadow/Loki is in fact or heavily implied, and Wednesday is not best pleased. A Jacquel who drinks a bit too much, and an Ibis who's a passive-aggressive fusspot.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Jack, Will, and Elizabeth in any combination. Also Jack or Barbossa with Tia Dalma, Barbossa/Elizabeth, and Jack/Bootstrap.

Jack, Norrington, and Beckett in any permutation. Jack/Barbossa, Jack/Anamaria, Norrington/Elizabeth, Pintel/Ragetti, and Davy/Tia Dalma.

I love genfic that deals with Jack's employment with the EITC, Jack's bargain with Davy Jones, the time Jack spent searching for the Pearl pre-CotBP, and Jack's stint at World's End. Also, anything to do with Barbossa or Tia Dalma at any point in time, and the ten years Elizabeth spent waiting for Will to come home.

Snark, banter, snappy dialogue, and Jack being inescapably Jack. Angst. Sex on the beach, and sex on the Pearl. Pintel, Ragetti, and Barbossa poaching on Elizabeth, Elizabeth in jealous fits because Tia Dalma is ogling Will, and Will in jealous fits because Jack and Elizabeth are ogling each other.

I'm partial to genfic concerning the brothers and their mission, the brothers and their relationship with their father, and Smecker's guilt about letting them get away.

Snark, banter, snappy dialogue. Angst, religious symbolism, and blasphemy. Prolonged UST, rutting, frottage, and ridiculous amounts of Catholic guilt.

Hawkeye/Trapper and Hawkeye/BJ

Hawkeye/Margaret, Trapper/Margaret, and Henry/Radar.

I like anything centered on Hawkeye, Trapper, BJ, Henry, or Radar, particularly their daily lives during the war, or fics that explore their lives before or after.

Angst cleverly combined with humour. Nurse-chasing. Gin-drinking. Margaret in high dudgeon, and Frank being a supercilious arse. Fumbling first times, Peg!guilt from BJ, and sex as an escape from the war.

Bandom stuffs

~ good bands:

I like Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. I like them together, I like them apart, I like them in no particular order. Patrick/Pete is made of win, as is Frank/Gerard. Although, I won't say no to Pete/Mikey, Frank/Mikey, Patrick/Gerard, and maybe, possibly Pete/Gerard. Also Patrick/Bob, Frank/Bob, and if pressed, Gerard/Bob.

I also like Gabe Saporta. I'm partial to Gabe/Patrick and Gabe/Mikey, but I'd probably sit still for Gabe and just about anyone.

~ ok bands:

I want to like Panic, TAI, and Gym Class Heroes. I've seen enough pictures to appreciate the shiny, but I don't know enough about the boys to appreciate the fic about these bands on their own.

However, I do love a good multiband fic, particularly when it also includes things like Brendon/Ryan, Jon/Spencer, and Travis/William. Also Gabe/William and Gabe/Travis, because there's always room for Gabe. No, really.

Sundry information on my writing, stolen from a recent meme.

10 ways you know you're reading something I wrote:

1. Sirius has sex, or tries to have sex, or talks about having sex. Failing that, there's at least one reference to Sirius being naked, or to Sirius having recently been naked. Failing that failing that, Sirius talks about that one time, when he ended up naked.
   
   
2. At some point, someone will end up trapped in a broom cupboard.
   
   
3. While the pairing list fails to mention Remus/Sirius, and Remus and Sirius are in fact shacked up with other people, the Remus/Sirius manages to be implied.
   
   
4. If it's not a threesome, it probably should be. Or, it would be, if the three people involved would stop shagging by twos long enough to sort themselves out.
   
   
5. The POV character is under the impression that Grimmauld Place is trying to tell him something.
   
   
6. James is so far back in the closet he can see Narnia.
   
   
7. The people having sex are not having sex with the people they actually want to have sex with.
   
   
8. Regulus and Sirius are not entirely sure how they feel about each other, or how they are supposed to feel about each other, but it doesn't really matter, because they end up naked with each other, or naked with other people while thinking about each other.
   
   
9. Dialogue and action sequences are interspersed with random commentary on things like the scenery, the décor, the weather, the colour of Peter's socks, and the approximate weight of the most recent uncomfortable silence.
   
   
10. It's all about Sirius, even when it isn't.
