Crackpoll.
(This may be premature, but since JKR is already carroting, why not?)

Are you in touch with your Inner Eye? Are you in close contact with The Fates? Do you possess The Sight, the ability to part the Veil Between the Worlds, or at the very least, a Magic 8-Ball with a fair amount of accuracy?

If you answered 'yes' to any of the above, gaze into your crystal ball, shuffle your tarot cards, and dive into the lj-cut Unknown...

... and predict the events of Book Seven.

Yeah, he's suddenly one of the gang.

I tossed him in there because I felt kind of bad for not giving him a question of his own. I mean, if he'd been included in other people's reindeer games more often, he might not have decided to wage war on mankind.

Just to clarify my answers, i think the next book will be called Harry Potter and teh scavanger hunt of dh00m.

And i picked everyone for question 20, because i think everyone will die a horrible bloody death, even those who are shivering and cowering under their beds at home. {like Pansy. I think the girl is a total coward}

I can totes see the first half the book eaten up by the cliche sci-fi/fantasy group pilgrimage to Find Something Important.

She's so going to kill everyone but, like, Colin Creevey. Or Mrs Norris.

Where's the tickybox for wildebeest, dammit?

In re:

01. The title of book seven with be...

So far it's gone: Thing, Place, Person, Thing, Place (sort of), Person, so my bet is probably Thing.

09. Remus will...
announce his eternal and undying love for Sirius
dump Tonks for a female in Fenrir's pack
dump Tonks for a male in Fenrir's pack
accidentally shag Harry

I'm guessing you don't ship Remus/Tonks, huh. :D

10. Sirius is...
doing well on the Other Side; he's keeping fit, eating right, and has taken up macramé to pass the time

AHAHAHAHAHAH. *dies*

*takes up macrame*

17. The first shipwar after the book's release will be...

Dude, couldn't you make them all pre-checked? You know they'll all explode simultaneously.

19. The first book seven-compliant fanfic will be written...

Where's the box for "already has been"? :D

GREAT POLL OMG. I shall link and pimp it.

Sam makes a good point. It just isn't a legitimate poll without a ticky for wildebeest.

Why isn't there an option saying Sirius is busy shagging Regulus in the afterlife? Why? (Unless he's making some sort of bindings with the macrame so he can tie his little brother up...)

I've left Ginny and Luna as the only two alive. As my girlfriend just said "They can repopulate the wizarding world with their lesbian love babies."

There should be, honestly. If I ship anything at all, it's Regulus/Sirius.

Everyone is so going to die. She can say TWO in interview all she wants. She's probably axing everyone.

maybe kinda sorta get laid, but the reference will be so vague we'll still be arguing about it when we're pensioners

maybe kinda sorta get laid, but the reference will be so vague we won't really know until JKR confirms it in a TLC interview two months after the book's release
I had to go with both, because really, they're anything but incompatible. Her confirmation of it in the interview will only serve to make the arguing all the more fierce. Same thing with the Ron/Hermione question, really.
04. If Harry finally does get a leg over, it'll be with...
Everybody! Harry Potter And the Big Frickin' Orgy, anyone?
08. If we find Snape is, in fact, loyal to the Order, it'll be proven through...
A completely gratuitous act of martyrdom that we hear about in an eyewitness account from a character we've never heard of. That way, the OMGTEHANGST factor gets cranked up to eleven, and we get as many fics about Snape still being alive as we do involving Dumbledore finding a way to cheat the Reaper, neh?
09. Remus will...
Have a violent and exceedingly cliché, one-on-one confrontation with Fenrir, during which he will announce his eternal and undying love for Sirius in a manner vague enough to cause shipwars just before he dies.

On #16, I had to vote for Theodore Nott because of the obvious pun potential.

One considers that you are the red headed step-super genius of fandom, yeah?

I think Harry Potter and the Useless, I'm-a-billionaire-and-don't-actually-need-to-write Title

But also, it could be:
Harry Potter and the Boiling Cauldron of NO-ONE-CARES-THAT-YOU-ALL-WANT-ME-TO-WRITE-A-ROMANCE-NOVEL!!!!LLL!!L111!
Harry Potter and the Bong That Will See You Through
Harry Potter and the Dashed Dreams of Fandom
Harry Potter and the very Shallow Grave
Harry Potter and the Angry Itch
Harry Potter and Army of Necrophiliac Inferi
Harry Potter and the Throat-Sized Kidney Bean
Harry Potter and the Two Dead Lords

Alright, Luv? I'm hopped up on schnapps, benzedrine and those little, chocolate covered peanuts.

First wholly compliant fic will be released four hours after the book is leaked onto the internet, a week before its release date.

I'm putting good odds on Harry being preternaturally more mature in the next book. I think JKR is sick of writing whiny teenagers, and that the whole Dumbledore's Man/dumping Ginny thing was her setup for a rapid coming-of-age followed by defeat of some symbolic spectre of childhood and yada yada settles down and has ten kids with someone we've never heard of.

Actually, ten kids with an OC is not that far out-there. Especially if she's a Hufflepuff. There's been loads of Hufflepuff support, tonight.

*goes to stare at teh shiny carrots*

She would be willing to kill Harry in order to prevent future authors from writing sequels

That's a bit pretentious, don't you think? Write the story as it makes sense, not to keep people a hundred years from now from playing in your sandbox.

One would think.

Of course, we'd just keep playing in the sandbox, anyway. There'd be wave of AU fic. Either that, or necro would become the new black.
